Setting a New Year’s Resolution, or 10 New Year’s resolutions for that matter may be the most important thing you do all year. Power means action. Without action you get very little of what you want and need. The reason why we don’t set New Year’s Resolutions is because it immediately makes us accountable. Learning how to set a New Years Resolution makes us sets parameters that hold us accountable to success or failure. Learning how to set a New Year’s Resolution for yourself that works in 2020 can be nothing short of life changing. Imagine ditching the anxiety, the depression and the addictions or bad habits once and for all? It is more than possible when you become resolute with your thinking, feelings and actions.

Discover how to set up day-to-day goals for yourself, and then resolve to begin living with present moment awareness for the rest of your life. Resolving to live your life one day at a time and on purpose, can literally change everything. Moving towards goalposts that really matter is the shortest route towards living a self fulfilled life where you can find peace, happiness and purpose in doing the things you do. Remember that with God, all things are possible. That leaves nothing out at all. So aim carefully for the stars, no more waling in the dark, and hoping for the best. Be focused, intentional and resolute about what you want and where you are going this year. Lao Tzu said “When you correct your mind, everything else will fall into place.” Conscious awareness and focus are the key to creating the life you want this year. Specific, measurable, realistically achievable and time-bound resolutions are far more likely to succeed than wishy-washy maybe’s. Spend an hour on your resolutions for 2020. Get quiet and be specific. Write them down for clarity and treat the finished product like a personal contract you have with yourself.

Pin your resolutions somewhere you can see them everyday and begin to include them in your meditation, contemplation and prayer time. Keep them top of mind while you do your yoga and daily exercises. Operating without goals and objectives oftentimes leaves us confused, lost and feeling frustrated that we can’t seem to find our way to where we need to be as easily as other people seem to do it.

Resolutions give us clear personal contracts to operate from. They let us know what is and is not acceptably productive behavior. Clearly defined ideas on how to set a New Years resolutions help us to instantly see where we are operating successfully and where we are not. Just thinking about the positive things you want to attract in your life is not enough to get them to manifest for you. You need daily action steps that will lead you somewhere. Either towards what you know you want and need for yourself and the people you love, or we can drift away into timeless oblivion as we set and reset our intentions in our heads without ever applying the daily deeds necessary for success. Learning how to set a New Years Resolution can make all the difference to a life that was once lead by mere chance.

This is your year! Be resolute about how you want to achieve what you need to. Keep your spiritual needs of growth and contribution in mind as you start to connect with the world in a new, powerful way. The quality of being determined or resolute sets the power of intention and the laws of attraction into motion instantly. When you are clear about your questions, the answers speed there way back to you in the same manner. It is non-clarity and confusion about what we need and want that leads us around in circles.
