Beyond the Mask: How to Rewrite the Unconscious Scripts and stop Sabotaging Your Soul

Have you ever wondered why, despite your best intentions and your deepest desires for change, you seem to keep hitting the same invisible walls? You set a goal for a healthy relationship, yet find yourself picking fights. You commit to a path of peace, yet find your mind spiraling into judgment and anxiety. You may need to rewrite unconscious scripts and Stop Sabotaging Your Soul.

This post discusses how unconscious scripts sabotage personal growth despite conscious desires for change. It highlights the conflict between the Personality, driven by fear, and the Sacred Self, embodying authenticity. By fostering self-awareness and making responsible choices, individuals can heal their internal conflicts, align their intentions with the Sacred Self, and stop self-sabotaging behaviours.

The truth is that most of us are living “splintered” lives. We think we are making decisions from our conscious minds, but beneath the surface, a hidden hand is pulling the strings. This is the conflict between the Personality—the mask we wear to survive the world—and the Sacred Self—the eternal, authentic essence of who we truly are.

To Stop Sabotaging Your Soul and lead a purpose driven life, you must learn to move your seat of consciousness from the frightened ego to the Sacred Self.

The Personality: The Source of Your Sabotage

What we often call “personality” is really a collection of survival mechanisms. It is the part of us that is born out of fear, lack, and the need for protection. When you make decisions from the Personality, you are almost always acting from an unconscious intention to avoid pain, seek validation, or control your environment.

These unconscious intentions that won’t help you to Stop Sabotaging Your Soul are incredibly powerful. In the hierarchy of the mind, the unconscious will win every single time. If your conscious mind says “I want love,” but your unconscious Personality says “Love is dangerous and leads to rejection,” you will find a way to sabotage every relationship you enter. You will call it “bad luck” or “the wrong partner,” but in reality, it is your frightened personality fulfilling its own hidden agenda.

The Sacred Self: The Seat of Authentic Power

The Sacred Self is the part of you that is already whole, already connected, and entirely devoid of fear. It doesn’t need to “get” anything from the world because it is already complete. When we operate from this space, our intentions are rooted in love, gratitude, and contribution.

The goal of our work is to “unsplinter” these two parts—to bring the frightened parts of the Personality into the light of the Sacred Self so they can be healed.

How to Identify Your Hidden Drivers

You cannot change what you cannot see. To find the unconscious intentions that are sabotaging you, you must develop a radical kind of self-awareness.

1. The Body is the Gateway Your emotions are the “force field” of your soul. They are the primary way your unconscious communicates with you. If you want to know what your hidden intentions are, stop looking at your thoughts and start looking at your body. When you feel a “clench” in your throat, a “heaviness” in your chest, or a “knot” in your solar plexus, you have found a frightened part of your personality. That physical sensation is the signature of a fear-based intention.

2. Watch the “Splintering” Start noticing the moments where you feel pulled in two directions. One part of you wants to be kind; another part wants to be “right.” One part wants to grow; another part wants to stay safe and small. Instead of judging these conflicting parts, simply acknowledge them. Say to yourself: “A frightened part of my personality is active right now.”

3. The Practice of Responsible Choice Every moment offers a choice between the Ego and the Sacred. A responsible choice is one where you are willing to own the consequences. If you choose to react in anger, you must own the disconnection that follows. Changing your unconscious intentions requires you to consciously “reach” for the healthiest part of yourself, even while you are feeling the pull of fear. You don’t wait for the fear to go away; you choose the higher path while the fear is present.

Healing the Blueprint

When you begin to set intentions from your Sacred Self, don’t be surprised if your life feels like it’s getting “messier” at first. This is because your soul’s intention will naturally activate every part of your personality that is not in alignment with it. This is how we Stop Sabotaging Your Soul and get on with building our lives. This is how we heal addictions, anxiety and depression as well as everything else in between.

If you set an intention for abundance, your “scarcity programs” will flare up. If you set an intention for love, your “unworthiness programs” will scream for attention. This isn’t failure—it’s the healing process. These parts are coming to the surface so you can recognize them, hold them in compassion, and choose differently.

You are not your personality. You are the Sacred Self that observes the personality. The moment you realize this, the sabotage ends, and your real life begins.

Journey well into the heart of who you are.
