The ENLIGHTENMENT Game

The ENLIGHTENMENT Game

The ENLIGHTENMENT Game ™

A fun, humorous and educational trivia game that helps people unwind and be mindful. Includes mindfulness trivia that would stun any guru, life coach or yoga teacher. Helps connect families, clients to therapists and individuals and groups of people to one another.

The Enlightenment game, designed by Mark L Lockwood at Center for Healing. andLife Transformation, prompts people to get to their core issues and think deeply about how they feel, think and act while having a blast of a time, and a good laugh as well. The more we get to know about ourselves and others the more we can think and feel our way towards lasting healing and connection.

Playing the enlightenment game at least every fortnight is highly recommended for anyone who would benefit from therapy. In the midst of a mental health crisis and a worldwide pandemic we all have a couple of issues emerging, let’s learn and laugh about them at the same time!

Once you have finished playing the game, aside from enlightenment, you should realise that you momentarily escaped the prison of your mind for the beauty of the present moment. Less thinking on autopilot is more.

The Enlightenment game is a fun form of meditative mindful practice in the form of a card game. It starts you using different parts of your brain and helps with being mindful in everything from problem solving, to being social to stepping out of your comfort zones. Practice is experiential and makes life what you build it up to be over time.

The ENLIGHTENMENT Game ™

The Enlightenment card game is a fun game that helps people unwind and be mindful. Includes mindfulness trivia that would awaken any budding guru, life coach, therapist, know-it-all, or yoga teacher. The game helps connect families, clients to therapists and individuals and groups of people to one another.

There are enlightenment cards (blue and white) and Zen Master cards (Black)

The person with lowest emotional intelligence goes first and acts as the dealer. If you play a second round or more, the loser gets to go first in order to preserve their self esteem.

Put all the Blue Enlightenment cards and the Black Zen Master cards together face down in a pile on the table. Shuffle well.

Deal out 10 White Enlightenment cards to each player which they can view and hold. These cards are used to answer your Life Coach questions presented by your very own Life Coach who has just finished her 21 day course and received her certificate, and is now ready to help you, help yourself, and achieve enlightenment.

They will flip over the first blue or black enlightenment card and read it out loud.

DRAWING A BLUE ENLIGHTENMENT CARD

Each player will hand their card to the dealer face down. The cards will be shuffled and then read out loud by the dealer. The dealer will choose the closest or best answer and whoever’s card it was that one gets all the cards.

DRAWING A BLACK ENLIGHTENMENT CARD

There is a question at the top of each black card presented by your World renowned Life Coach. Ask the question to the players by reading out the question out loud.

The person who gives the best life coaching answer is decided by all the players and is deemed the winner of that round keeps the card. If there is a split decision a single elimination round of rock-paper-scissors is played to decide the winner.

WINNING LIKE CHARLIE SHEEN

The person with the most cards at the end of 18 rounds wins. (18 represents 1 infinity, with the number 1 next to a sideways infinity sign). The winner is deemed to have become wiser than at least two and a half men and wise enough, through developing his or her IQ, EQ and CQ to achieve enlightenment
